Toki Pona is an artificial language designed to express the most, using the least , created by Sonja Elen Kisa : professor , translator and linguist of Toronto (Canada)

Philosophy of pona
Toki Pona's most fundamental value is pona = good , which goes hand in hand with the simple way of life behind the language. The language is designed to steer us towards positive and constructive thinking.

The name toki pona itself means simple language (or good language)
is inspired by Taoist philosophy, among other things.

The entire language has only 120 words and 14 sounds
The grammar is very regular and easy to learn.

ALPHABET
Toki Pona has a very simple sound system.
There are only 9 consonants and 5 vowels, for a total of 14 letters.

Toki Pona spelling is regular. Each letter always corresponds to the same basic sound.

Toki Pona is written all in lower case, even at the beginning of a sentence. Upper case letters are only used at the beginning of proper names
