VOCABULARY

mi -> I, me
sina -> you
ona -> He , She, It
mute many, very, much, several, a lot, abundant, numerous, more
mi mute - we
ona mute they
jan -> people,somebody,someone,person , etc.
pona -> Godd,simple....to fix, to repair
suli -> Tall,big
lukin -> To see , watch
moku -> To eat, to drink
suno -> Sun,light
telo -> Water,liquid

GRAMMAR TIP
Sentences with mi or sina as the subject
In Toki Pona there is no form of the verb to be, so, the basic sentence is:
mi pona = I am good
sina suli = You are tall
Simply mi or sina and complete the sentence with a verb or adjective.

Sentences without mi or sina as the subject use LI to separate a 3rd person subject from its verb

mi moku > I drink
sina suli > You are tall
ona li suli -> She is tall
ona li moku -> He drinks
ona mute li moku -> They eat

li is a grammatical word that separates the 3rd person subject from its verb.
Remember: li It's only used when the subject is not mi or sina.
